Top two officials removed at Manchester VA hospital - The Boston Globe

The quality of care and management has been atrocious. What is even worse is the lack of effective oversight. It took whistle-blowing by several doctors and staffers and a Boston Globe investigation to get this overdue action started. We need to get Congress to push for and fund better care for our vets.

Just finished reading the article. Unbelievable the conditions described. The two administrators should not only be fired if their incompetence and neglect are true, they should be criminally charged if possible. I reposted this on a Vietnam Veterans group on FaceBook that I frequent.

This got a lot of coverage in the Boston market on TV and NPR radio. There is concern that the person assigned to investigate and evaluate will whitewash the results.
