If our government doesn't do something soon our Navy will be in trouble. We have the most advanced Navy but also one of the smaller ones among the bigger powers. People say because we are so advanced we can get by with less ships. To that I say the most advanced ship in the world cant do a thing if they are not on station. With less ship it forces the Navy into longer and longer at sea periods. Trust me from a sailor the spent 72 Days in the IO without seeing land. That length of time at sea isn't easy.
