Presidential speech writers are commercially minded and politically motivated experts preparing blended presentations of political, commercial and social malarkey to appeal to the followers, critics and independents alike. However, most of the time raw speeches will not inspire critics or independents. Hence, these unedited presentations must be sent into the kitchen where spin doctors massage each speech carefully taking into account those issues that matter. Speech writing in the WH is a complete process to mislead the masses.

A1C Mike Allen, media reports are generally twisted to appeal to its followers/consumers and; when these media reports are further used to sway public sentiments in favor of the intent of the media house then, the report is a success. Fox News tailored its WH reports to appeal to Trump and his followers, which won Fox News exclusivity during the Trump administration. This was success for Fox News.

I was referencing this particular item.
I haven't seen any other outlets (other then the accepted US based Liberal ones) that have stated the bombastic "Worst sense the Civil War" headlines.
