Tim Jensen, the gritty Chief Operating Officer of Gruntstyle, LLC, one of the nation’s most successful military lifestyle brands, earnestly opens up about his journey of service in the Marine Corps prior to September 11, 2001, why he rejoined the Marines after 9/11, and his deployment to Iraq in 2004.
Tim reveals three pinnacle moments of his combat tour. The first time he ever took another man’s life. The chaos of the first time he and his fellow Marines were hit with a roadside bomb (IED), and the heartbreaking moment he lost his best friend, fellow Marine, Corporal Nathanial Hammond.
Tim then recalls the darkness of living with post traumatic stress after his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps which included alcohol and drug abuse, divorce, and losing custody of his children.
Tim shares his message of hope describing his challenging road to recovery aided by his new wife Catherine and finding his purpose and passion for brotherhood, service and business at Gruntstyle.

There needs to be more of these types of projects... written by Veterans, using all veteran cast/crew...
