This is a very interesting article. It is a rather large predicament. I wonder if the cadets were aware of this policy before openly identifying as transgender. Further, I am wondering if there will be a financial burden on the cadets due to not being able to commission and serve their ADSO. Would they be offered the chance to Direct Commission if/when the policy is changed? Interesting.

Do they charge people who become medically unfit to serve. If not that is the same excuse they are using for trans people “medically unfit” which is absolutely moronic!

I knew a cadet who was transgender and was refused commissioning in the ROTC program.

Sad knowing this person was an enlisted infantryman but cannot serve as an officer.
