SPC David S. - Ok? Id be against Trump congratulating Kim Jong Dong on his "election" wins as well... I would be ok with having open talks with dictators to keep the peace but against legitimizing their "accomplishments"

SPC David Willis - Have you no memory at all? If you want examples of "slurping" , Hillarys' stupid reset button and Obama's promise of more flexibility after his reelection, coupled with absolutely no response at all to any bad things Russia actually did during that administration, are far better examples of "slurping" than a congratulatory phone call to the leader of Russia after his reelection.

SSgt Christopher Brose - If your only responses are going to involve people not named Trump Ill just start ignoring you. If you can show a screen shot of me saying I'm ok with things that Hillary did or Obama did regarding Russia please show it, otherwise don't bring them up continuously as a defense for things Trump does because my disapproval is pretty bi-partisan. Your defense however is not and that's telling.

SPC David Willis - diplomacy has to start somewhere - acknowledging one's position within a government is a good starting place as its a way of recognizing their authority - its a way of letting an individual know what they would be held accountable for. As well such diplomacy in not always a form of approbation.

It was a gesture of normal good manners, some people forget those two simple words.
