Trump has a lot to say about that crashed F-35 jet

Trump, who was recently slammed by liberals and conservatives alike for a Truth Social post that mentioned the death penalty, took to his social media site once again to give his thoughts on the crash. The pilot in the plane parachuted to safety, and audio of his 911 call was published online.
Trump says he was right about the plane to begin with, and that everyone should have listened to him in the first place.
"On numerous occasions I told the Air Force and Lockheed Martin that the F-35 Fighter Jet is, in effect, DEFECTIVE, because it only has one engine," he wrote. "They told me that the engine is so good and reliable that it will never break down."
He added more context, finding a way to slip in an insult against Biden.
"I said that’s not possible, everything breaks down at one time or another, just look at Crooked Joe Biden. You need redundancy, you need TWO ENGINES! No high cost modern day plane should have only one engine. Well, an F-35 fell out of the sky yesterday. Hear we go again!"

This was from a Canadian newspaper. So what president Trump says does make sense....

In the report, Byers compares the F-35 to the single-engine CF-104 Starfighter, which the Canadian air force used from the 1960s to 1987 and which was involved in 110 crashes in that time.
A quarter of those crashes were attributed to bird strikes and the fact there was no secondary engine to allow the plane to keep flying.
