I got a laugh out of the comment that the German Chancellor explained the Geneva Convention to President Trump. She chose to overlook the facts of her country's history with religious persecution, racism, and losing two major wars, one of which they started. She has no room to lecture the US president on anything having to do with human rights.

True but I'm not sure our US president knows our history of religious persecution, racism, isolation based nationalism policy, immigration, and the two wars we didn't do too well in either.
