All these great generals are spinning in their graves. I'd take it he never heard of operations that were "publicized" to make the enemy think we're coming now, no next month, no we moved yesterday on intel that had you confused when we were coming. On Patton, I reckon he didn't know one of his greatest triumphs wasn't even made shooting. It was through the use of blown up fake vehicles, used to fool German spy planes and individuals themselves that Patton was on the move, yet he went anywhere. I know know Trump would never have made it in boxing. The whole point is to go in and win. You use feints, jabs, hooks, false advertising of a move (can be considered a feint), but use a total different one, counters, and if he was still alive Ali could give him a solid class on each one. Floyd is, but Trump won't listen to anyone that doesn't speak what he wants to hear, or want to listen to him make things up as he goes along (much like any politician really), but they're not as bad as he is with it. Why can't we just let Cyborg hit him twice? Once to let him know he won't get up from this, and the second to confirm it? It could be a pre-Rousey warm up where both won't be getting up. The RNC deserves a better candidate (imagine that..me defending the RNC), America deserves a better candidate(s) form both sides.

I will agree Trump in public is talking too much. But a man doesn't do what he does, both the success, the failures, and then the success without following advice of others. The question is who will he be listening to. The other factor with Trump, as both Republicans and Democrats are not very supportive, it will be difficult for him to push through any agenda without making compromise. I would rather go with an unknown at this point. How many countries are we bombing? How many regime changes that haven't been thought through? How close to war with Russia are we? Then reflect, which actually impact our national security? I don't mind defending the US, including certain economic interests, but I do mind attacking other countries, removing their elected officials all for corporate gain under the disguise of spreading democracy. Several countries are not ready for democracy. Democracy requires an educated class, a bureaucracy, sustainable economic development, transparent rule of law, security, and willingness to accept the people. We didn't accept the "people" concept fully, hence why we are a Republic.

Sir who are we to decide what those classes were. We tried in Iraq and that was a rousing failure that is continuing to this day. Maybe the real solution is to stay the hell out of other ideals until it truly and not by manufactured means impacts us. We don't need oil or natural gas when we're the leading manufacturers of both. Since that was the underling premise of Iraq one and two, what are we going to fight over now? Religion? No one truly cares about religion.Be honest. If the murderer isn't the right color the religion isn't even mentioned at all. Race, it's the same. Me and you could go round and round and you kill me. Would it make the news? Highly doubtful unless the roles were reversed, but we'd go to war over the Kardashians.....go figure.

Just to clarify on classes - it is not the typical sense of race delineated. It is whether the people have enough education and intellectual capacity which is needed to sustain any democratic form of government. Without it, you have the tyranny of the majority. I agree with your "real solution" however.
