It would be good for some military officers or Candidates to have an internship in other countries that we do not understand well.
What is needed is understanding the Art of War (Sun Tzu ) is based also on focus on peace where possible. Good judgement, cool heads, expertise, experience needed from generals, admirals, Defense and State Department career people, regional and humanitarian expert organizations... Our President does not hear enough advice - I don't think he has the patience.
I can recommend reading the online TheDilomat for Asia policy and issues. Anti-War is not always un-Patriotic. Wisdom is needed to see when peace is not given chances and our allies have more wisdom than we sometimes think, our enemies have lots of good people and some clear heads.

This is a great commentary. It is also a catch-22. These issues can make climate change alarm brought forth by democrats, green party people and liberals worldwide go in the toilet if we happen to get into a nuclear war with Russia, China or North Korea. Or if a war breaks out between India and Pakistan and they watch about a 100 Hiroshima size bombs. Celestion there save the world mentality will be in the toilet because crops will be destroyed, the ozone there will be gone and we will have at least 20 years of global cooling. People like AOC and the green party will be out of a job if they are still alive.
