Of course she should be ashamed. She's a journalist (or what passes for a journalist these day). Her lack of shame is indicative of the problem we face in America (and the better part of the world). If we had honest journalists (as Mencken said, who "comforted the afflicted and afflicted the comfortable") we wouldn't have half the problems we have today. Sadly, our Forth Estate acts more like a Fifth Column for the progressive ideologues, and we not only have more problems, but also less chance of resolving them.

Well, Captain, do not be unabashed in stating your dogma! I do believe that you have stated concisely what is wrong with the journalists/press of the day, yet I also believe the culpability sits on the side of the press and maybe more on the side of the consumers of "yellow journalism" who never cease to rubber neck the destruction wrought by criminals/news story sensations/"celebrities" who practice worship of Bacchus.

You don't need to listen to Trump on this. Watch the video. There is no doubt that she was manipulating the editing in a way that completely misrepresented what was actually said. The 9 second pause after the loaded question was 100% false. She did it to make gun owners looks stupid and appear to have no cogent thought on the matter. She was the producer of the piece too. She is without excuse for the outcome. She owns it.

She was hoping to get away with it but unfortunately for her, others recorded the interview.

The American people ought to be ashamed for following Couric & her ilk with their insipient submissions of stories.
