If only everybody would do as he says, instead of what he does, the world would be a wonderful place and everybody would be a happy camper.

He's probably not wrong. It's been called the military industrial complex for decades for a reason. He's bringing Soldiers Home. He's ending needless Wars. We as service members should applaud him for doing that as we have seen our brothers and sisters die in places where we could never win. When's the last time a general was killed on the battlefield? World War II in Okinawa. This is a nonpartisan issue. When the president speaks the truth in a non-partisan way we should all admire him for speaking the truth. Shouldn't we?

US general killed in Afghanistan assassination was engineer
Harold J. Greene, the two-star Army general who on Tuesday became the highest-ranking U.S. military officer to be killed in either of America's post-9/11 wars, was an engineer who rose through the ranks as an expert in developing and fielding the Army's war materiel. He was on his first deployment to a war zone.

MSgt Neil Greenfield I was thinking more like the traditional battlefield but fully accepted Afghanistan is not a normal War.
