Once I was at Yakima training range and I had an E7 Observer controller trainer bashing me in condescending me in my critique of the way my platoon was maneuvering. I shut him down and told him I'll do anything in the line of duty but I won't take this crap you will treat me with respect remember I am a commissioned officer! And he said yes sir yes sir. It's one thing if he doesn't like what we're doing but it's another thing if he's treating us like crap and treating me like crap. This was back in 2002 and it was not a safety issue with weapons or ammunition.

LTC (Join to see) Sir, I had an issue with a SGM that finally escalated after months of him bullying, berating, and demeaning the Soldiers in my section. I finally had enough. I confronted him about it and he told me this is NCO business and not in my lane. The conversation grew heated on his end and when I told him he will not treat Soldiers that way he became belligerent. I had enough and I told him that when you address commissioned officers, you should be at the POA. He then turned to his COL and said do you believe the balls on this CW2 and his COL looked him dead in the eye and said, SGM, the Chief is absolutely right! You should be at the POA when you address a commissioned officer. After my one-way conversation with him, he left our folks alone for a while. Every now and then I have to put him back on track. Having said that, I applaud the President for putting this reporter in her place. They need to be reminded that their job is to report the news and not make opinionated based dissertations about it.

I believe there's no such thing as NCO business. Command should know everything that is going on and be free to speak about legitimate concerns. CW3 Michael Bodnar

I have give up on 60 Minutes and only watch Lester for a little info on the current news. Sometimes, I am able to watch his entire newscast before moving back to Fox.
