They all over promise. Remember if you like you plan you can keep your plan? And no new taxes. You have to take a president on the balance of what they tried to do and also what they accomplished. Using a more rational appraisal we will see Donald Trump is coming through in a big way on many of his key priorities.

It's all a moot discussion of course because Congress never accepts the President's Budget even when one party is in control of the White House and Congress. Why Presidents get blamed all the time for overspending is beyond me as Congress is the branch that appropriates and it is Congress that keeps appropriating and changing the cap on the Federal Budget to spend more and more. Granted it is partially Trumps fault for not holding the line which is something he attempted to do with the first budget. However, government shutdowns as a means to control spending are not popular with the electorate.

Cut off all the damn foreign aid we're sending out to countries all over the world, especially to countries who don't even like us, but they'll still accept our money.
