Personally, I don’t think we need to spend the money for a Military Parade. It’s like a wedding. Months of preparation, lots of money spent, and it’s over in an hour or less. I think it’s a waste of time and money, but that’s just me.

This parade isn't about Trump honoring the military. It's about him being saluted by the military. He was jealous when he sat and watched the French Bastille Day parade, and wants to one up the French. For those who think this is some low budget thing with a few troops marching, google the French Bastille Day parade. Trump's guidance to DOD was he wants something like that.

MCPO Roger Collins, Sir That was when we weren’t spending money on the Military, and cutting ranks. Not enough manpower I assume. It would have been a embarrassment since Obama didn’t care for the American Military.
