How are his tax returns related to voter fraud? What does the DNC have to hide on it's Email Sever? What does Obama have to hide with his college transcripts?.............other items not released to the public or law enforcement.
I don't think Trump has to even ask in this area I think he can supeona via the FEC if he wanted to but he probably will not go that far.
Also, I would support this effort in part if it includes voting machines and agree with some of the Democrats that at a minimum every voter machine in the next Presidential Election should have a paper backup for audit to refute cheating allegations or assist in faster recounts such as the Green Candidate implied in the last election with her recount challenge.

The last administration has proven that they can use any information they please for political gain. Strange Koskinen didn't provide them since he was doing everything else to cover up and blame the Republicans. However, why would anyone be concerned about your voting choices, I get notes from conservative/Republicans asking for contributions, that information has to be available for them to do so. Feel free to check and see if I am a valid voter. Heck I will show my voter registration card, if that will help. The fear is that studies have shown, that an estimated 3-7 million voters voted illegally. I know, the fake news checkers have disavowed this study. Nothing new there.

Noncitizen illegal vote number higher than estimated
A research group in New Jersey has taken a fresh look at postelection polling data and concluded that the number of noncitizens voting illegally in U.S. elections is likely far greater than previous estimates.

They have nothing to do with it, he is asking what the states are hiding so what is he hiding . Neither he or his clown mission have my permission to view my personal information.

MSgt Michael Bischoff - You don't have any personal or privacy information to protect as election records do not contain personal information beyond who voted and who did not vote. They do not maintain for example who you voted for. They only state if you voted or you didn't vote.........which has long been held as public information. Outside the election information such as Social Security numbers or Dates of Birth of voters are covered by the Privacy Act as Personally Identifiable information and nobody can release that information without your explicit permission even if Trump requests it.

SPC Erich Guenther - Key words, public information. No doubt as to why some would like to keep this information of fraudulent voting quiet.

Any time you see anyone complaining about and resisting efforts to investigate voter fraud, you have found a liberal who desperately wants to keep people voting illegally.

I have been audited, and that would not have made any differences in any information if I had to reveal my forms. Come October his audits will be over. There is no reason why a public official shouldn't reveal that information. That is simple transparency. Many say they shouldn't have to because private citizens don't have to reveal them to their employers. However, if you choose to serve the public, you should show them to the public to alleviate any possible conflicts of interest.

The whole Tax form business I think is his choice to make public or not. I think we already demand too much of citizens running for public office. There are probably thousands of people that have already seen Donald's tax return data and if there was any legal issues there he would have been charged already via the IRS or FBI. Most of the public has never run or liquidated a business before and releasing his tax returns will create another program of innuendo and invented laws that do not exist. If it was me I would keep them private.

What about conflicts of interest? Showing one's tax returns to the public has been happening since President Nixon started the practice. Personally, it does not bother me whether they reveal them or not. However, when a politician voluntarily shows his/her returns, that candidate seems to be more transparent than one who does not.

SGT (Join to see) - Don't the Feds look for conflicts of interest when they vet him for office? I never thought that to be a job for the public.

SPC Erich Guenther - My point exactly. Almost all candidates reveal them voluntarily. I do not believe there are any laws which mandate a candidate show them.
