Just some thoughts. My tank was named Diplomacy Failed which indicates that diplomacy was used. I am alarmed that we are going to not use soft power and go straight to possible lethal force. Right now the protesters have legitimate grievances against local police and governments. However, the tack of Trump might turn this into an legitimate grievance against the federal government as well. We don't want that to happen, but I don't know if he has the intellect to understand the dynamics of the situation.
