Trump to reinstate service members discharged for not getting COVID-19 vaccine

President Donald Trump will sign an executive order to reinstate service members booted from the military for declining to get COVID-19 vaccine jabs. “The Executive Order directs the Secretary of Defense to reinstate all members of the military (active and reserve) who were discharged for refusing the COVID vaccine and who request to be reinstated,” according to the White House fact sheet. The service members who are reinstated will be restored to their prior rank, and will be provided back pay and benefits

I'll wager that those who return will face a very tough time of it in their units. To superiors ans more than likely every Sergeant Major Sixta types, they will be seen as people who got away with disobeying orders.

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney After I was out the Draft Board taunted me twice with a notice to report for a physical. Each time I went in eager to negotiate what my initial rank would be. So one of them has my paperwork and after a couple minutes of silence he says 'Oh, you still have a prosthesis, sorry.' This was after the physical of course. So my guess is many of those soldiers will jump at the chance.

And Dumb Enough To Ask To Be Sent To Vietnam. Where I Was Expecting
To Go Anyway. ~ So They Sent Me To Arkansas Instead. I Just Figured They
Thought Me To Be Crazy And Their Limit Of Nut Cases Was Filled..

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney The really cool thing is there is a couple here where the husband was blinded from an IED in Afghanistan and his wife fought her heart out to get him reinstated. And she was successful. I'm pretty sure most of the regulations have changed since my day thanks to people like her.

But I Know What It's Like To Have To Do Combat With Them, Even When
We Both Know The Right Answers.~ But The SOB'S Will Try To Wear Us Down,
And Often Succeed. ... For The Past 3 YEARS All I've I've Been Trying To Do
Is Get A Portable Oxygen Machine, And It's As Though I'm Trying To Put Them
Into Bankruptcy, ~So I Can't Even Imaging What She Must Have Gone Through!
It Damned Near Takes An Act Of Congress To Get The Things We Need AND Are Entitled To Under The Benefits Provisions. ~ And They Keep Giving Us Referrals Instead Of Taking Care Of The Issues.~ Bounce Us Around Like A Super-Ball And Nothing Gets Done.
