Turkey and Iran are the 'real' superpowers in the region who should definitely have a seat at the table regarding the state of affairs in Syria. Unfortunately Erdogan and Rouhani are not on the best if terms with the United States. The enemy of my enemy is my frenemy ;-) What a complex situation.
