The amount of Plastics in the world (mainly waste plastics) has increased by exponentially!
I came across a scientific video clip a few months ago and found it fascinating...so I am sharing this with all of my RP Brothers and Sisters... If it was not so important to the well being of mankind, I probably wouldn't have homed in on this subject...
This is both an educational video on the subject of GLOBAL WASTE PLASTICS and you will be quite surprised to see where the majority of this plastic waste comes from! If you thought the UNited States, you would be wrong... I won't divulge the sources here as you will see that in this video...
This is not a super short video, but about 11 minutes and it is well worth the watching by everyone in the world! That is how serious this PLASTIC WASTE is!!!
There is a solution, however, and it is both scientific and real! Scientists have found that WASTE PLASTICS can be converted to jet fuel! Watch the video and see how!
Some States have banned plastic straws, but that is but a micro problem compared with the total problem... I urge you all to watch, then share this to as many people as possible so everyone can understand the problem and a means of recycling at minimal cost...

Lt Col Charlie Brown - The process is scalable and nearly 100% of plastics are recyclable into fuels, both Jet Fuel and Diesel Fuel...

A massive problem and when you look at it from a global perspective, the US isn't even one of the biggest contributors to the problem. However we should be a leader in finding solutions but are not.

You are spot on Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen!!! I posted this so that more of us would be aware that there is a recycling and conversion process that will provide jet and diesel fuel, which we currently need for our Planes, Trains and Ships! And a the same time eliminating the Contamination by All sorts of Plastics!
