Perhaps this is what the doctor called for? A renewed competition for the JSF to push prices down? It seemed to have worked for AF1.

I posted another alternative the F15 SG that Singapore and Saudi Arabia have that could be upgraded further with with F35 electronics and pilot's helmet.

LTC (Join to see) - they'd need to fix the bugs in the helmet that are causing pilots to go blind during night flights, first.
