My grandfathers 6th grandpa and family were sent over as Irish Slaves after the Irish England war. And no I don't mean indentured servants. lol...

SFC Don Vance
SFC (Join to see) - I have an ancestor that is listed in one census as white. The next census he is listed as white with a negro wife and the next census the whole family is listed as mulatto. I haven't done a lot of research into that branch yet but it will be very interesting when I do.

Very Interesting thanks for sharing COL, My grandparents came over in early 1900 from Russia and Poland to escape persecution and extermination. I am glad they got out before the rise of the third Reich .

My great grandparents on my grandmother's side were from Germany and England, my great grandparents on my grandfather's side were from Prussia. Had relatives that came over before the Civil War, on grandfather's side. My mother's side is primarily from Germany.
