U.S. and Mexico play to a 1-1 tie in World Cup qualifier

This wouldn't be such a big deal if it weren't for the fact that Mexicans dragged Trump into the pre-game hype and made the game an "In your face, Trump" political as well as athletic contest. The Mexicans needed a win (see this article):

They only got a tie. In addition, Mexican fans showed disrespect for the U.S. by sitting and booing through the playing of the U.S. national anthem (see this article):

A tie represents a weak win for the U.S. ... and a big loss for Mexico. Instead of "in your face, Trump" ... it is "up yours, disrespecters of the U.S." Enjoy your tequila ... and a huge "well done" to the U.S. men's soccer team.
