U.S. Divisions of World War II

Great information. It's neat to read how we were a stagnant force. We adapted our forces to fit the needs of the theater.

My light infantry platoon had 34 men MTOE and the company MTOE was 125. We were only fully manned when a cohort graduated. That lasted maybe a month. We went into Just Cause as a 27 man platoon. When the cohort contract ended, we only had 7 of the original 23 soldiers left.
