US women's soccer games now generate more revenue than men's—but the players still earn less
U.S. women's soccer games have generated more revenue than U.S. men's games for three consecutive years. That's according to audited financial statements from the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) obtained by The Wall Street Journal. In 2016, women's games generated $1.9 million more in revenue than men's games.

SSG Carlos Madden - Dunno. I never found soccer very interesting so I don't watch it.
Having people getting paid the same just because they're doing the same sport is stupid. Which one is making more money to justify their higher salaries? That's how I see it.
Next, you'll have women's basketball trying the same thing when they don't draw dick for revenue compared to the NBA.

Sgt (Join to see) - Probably not. The WNBA doesn't generate nearly the revenue of the NBA. Whereas the US women's national soccer team was earning far less but bringing in the same, if not more money to US Soccer.

SSG Carlos Madden - As I said, whoever is drawing in more revenue should be making more money. That's the free market at work. It shouldn't just be that both sexes have to make the same amount just because of "sexism." Let the free market work it out.
