I would never have transferred to Wells Fargo in any case, because I'm happy with my nearly-30-year relationship with NFCU, but now I will actively tell friends and family all about their corporate thuggery in an effort to do my level best to steer them away.

"The bank will pay $10,000 to each of the affected servicemembers, plus lost equity in the cars with interest, and repair their credit." - Good. But at the same time, how many spouses lost their jobs because of this? How many service members were hemmed up by their CoC because of this? What was the real cost? If I lost my car tomorrow, I don't know what I'd do.
