My education was inadequate. I never knew any of this stuff and my parents taught me wrong.

Not Unusual To Think Like That Sargent, But The More We Know, The More We Realize We Don't Know Much After All.
The Best Thing Any Of Us Could Have Is The Curiosity To Learn More...... In Addition The Things We Were Taught To Be Facts Are No Longer Facts As Studies Have Found Additional Information.... Remember: ..It Use To Be a Well Known Fact That The Earth Is Flat......
Here's Something I Learned Several Years Ago.... Most Facts Are But Temporary.

I can understand for those that are Intersex (previously known as hermaphrodites). In the past, parents would "choose" the sex for the kid at birth. I'm sure that is changing (at least in Western societies). If so, there should be something for those that are not technically 100% male or female. However, I think some of the extremely progressive parents that want to "identify" their male or female children as "other," just because they are fighting for some sort of social justice project, is wrong.
