Fortunately all my experiences with Military Leftovers ended well. Walked thru a Tundra and Wild Cotton field partially fenced in to see what the sign with it's back facing me said. "Keep Out/Stay Out, Mine Field" WWII Minefield in Adak, AK. Another time Hiking thru the Tall Tundra Grass, High Stepping until I couldn't pick one foot up, Parted the Grass to see a Spike going thru the upper middle part of my Hiking boot parted more grass to see an Anti-Personnel Spike Rake, Good thing I have a High Instep, came in the side and went thru the top without going thru my foot. My last residence while I served was in Jackson Park, Navy Housing in Bremerton, in WWII it was an Ammo Dump. Nothing like the kids coming home from the Park "Dad, Call EOD there is a Bomb in the Middle of the Softball Field".
