This story reminds me of a story from Vietnam.
In Vietnam, a doctor and a nurse was brought a baby girl who was found laying on top of her dead mother. The doctor and nurse knew they weren't supposed keep the baby. But that didn't matter to them. They hid the baby girl and nursed her back to a healthy little girl. Eventually the baby was well enough to be given to a Vietnamese Orphanage. Years and years passed, but the nurse and the little girl thought of each other often. In 2001 a production company from Austin, Texas decided to do a documentary about the Huey helicopter and how it affected different lives in and out of Vietnam. It was called "In The Shadow Of The Blade". The little girl, who is a grown woman now, saw the advertisement for the documentary and got in touch with the producers. She and the nurse were reunited. The grown up little girl lives in America and came over on a boat when she was a baby. It was a tear jerking amazing sight.
