I swear the more I see of these modern weapons the more I am convinced that my weapon was closer to a flintlock than to these things. Sniper rifles when I was in had a barrel that weighed more than my first two children combined- and you got tennis elbow from holding the barrel up.
The only thing that can make this weapon miss at any range under half a mile...is me.

I think it's a great idea. H&K makes a great weapon. And it's about time for I light weight, 9 lbs, 7.62 sniper rifle ..one issued to each unit can make a huge difference in the field. And resemble the M-16 to make it easier for a regular unit soldier can pick it up and become fairly familiar pritty quickly makes it even better. Great job H&K...
