Ursula K. Le Guin, Acclaimed for Her Fantasy Fiction, Is Dead at 88

This will sadden Sci-fi / fantasy readers. It does me. She was a giant, easily capable of standing shoulder to shoulder with Tolkein, Martin, Jordan. Her Earthsea series is what turned my young (then) mind towards fantasy fiction, and eventually, led to my life-long hobby as an avid reader. RIP, Ma'am.
