I'm sure the pandemic is also running wild in many places that are seriously under-reporting for reasons of politics, national pride, lack of medical resources on the local level, or lack of testing. If I may play Devil's advocate- do you really believe the mega-slums of Mexico City, Rio, Lagos, Cairo, Calcutta, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, and many others, are not worse hotbeds of corona than Peoria and Cucamonga?
