I own a 3D printer and I know that there are many different materials that you can use to create items. I am not sure how I feel about something like this being made however do to the nature of what they are firing. Would it work, yeah with little problems, but my concern is durability, what environment will it be used in, maintenance and care. It gets a crack in it and something is no longer lined up right . . . . Just some of my thoughts.

Having said all that, 3D printers are really fun and you can create a lot of things with them. With the different materials, you can get quite a bit of strength into a model. But that's all I really use mine for is models and cosplay items for people that are into that. I make miniature models of things like Bradley's, Abram's, APC's, ets.

That is interesting SFC William Farrell. Having a 3-D printer version of a grenade launcher seems to be very risky.
1st 40mm grenade rounds are notoriously unstable
2nd 3-D designs are fairly easily replicated and are not hack-proof.
