Good call...and I agree, we cannot forget nontech techniques.
Like reading a topo map, using a compass, firing w/iron sights...

Sgt Wayne Wood - Wayne I remember when I was in the SF q course thinking damn I am going to be an SF guy I should be getting the most advanced weapon systems ever made. They specialized in getting us as low tech as possible. very very important

LTC Jeff Shearer we spent some time w/sf at Bragg.
At the time, the Swedish K was a popular choice by the boys ahead of Uzi, MP5, etc.
We wondered why...and they cited simplicity and reliability.
An example of using simple over sexy.
