Good to know the best of Our Military are becoming proficient in these “crucial battlefield skills” as I fear they will be imperative for all future battles.

Thanks. I am going to assume they have systems or methodology to simplify the process. As a tanker when in the defense, I divided the battlefield from left to right with Target Reference Points (TRP). They also designated fire patterns for the tanks. I would say two T-72s TRP2 2500 meters. It was very descriptive with minimal words but with maximum understanding.
