SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth , it is absolutely the best Duty station I had ever seen. Not to mention that the mess hall was manned by the Japanese who lived in the village right outside the base. Once a month lobster. Saturday and Sunday morning were made to order omelettes. I was there with a Lance Corporal, when the float was not there we had 2 M-48A3s in the tank park, when the float arrived, it was a different matter all together. We were kept busy. But pretty much had a great time, except when the old man decided to do PT as it stated snowing, he took us on a 3 mile run and buy the time we were only halfway through it got so bad that those in the back couldn't see the front of the formation. So he turned us loose and we beat feet back to the house. LoL
