I don't think this attack was directed at U.S. military personnel or their families. It was addressed "To Whom It May Concern". Also, I don't think you have to tell U.S. military personnel how to respond. We have a perfect example of them reacting quite well on a train in France, don't we? Lastly, I don't think we can begin restricting personal travel while on leave. We already have the State Department issuing traveler's warnings, don't we? Or, don't we trust the State Department? Be reasonable, Hillary's not running the show anymore. Oh, right. It's Kerry now. Maybe we shouldn't trust the State Department...

I have to really laugh at the thinking of the Military command. Ban on travel to Brussels. That's like shutting the barn door after the horse is already out. What about every other European city, aren't they targets as well? Why not ban all European travel? I just shake my head. All a person can do is be aware of where they are and their surroundings.
