I know the this Administration is claiming China is using Tik Tok to spy on Americans but we can make that same claim about Google, Facebook, Amazon, and other US apps and websites. Lets not stop at Tik Tok and WeChat, they should investigate all apps from foreign sources to include Russia. Either be consistent or admit this is retaliation for K-Poppers using Tik Tok to humiliate Trump campaign at Tulsa a few months ago.

Excellent question. The internet poses new possibilities for one nation-state to simultaneously control the information it's own citizenry gets to see, and manipulate the message sent to the citizens of other nations. How can America operate on a level field with China without impinging on the constitutional rights of its citizens? Must we allow the PRC access to our personal information and control of messaging by their apps?
