I mentioned to a Brother and I would call him a friend when he mentioned that the preformed was not quite to his taste, I made the comment that the troops who saw it liked it, and probably don't even know who Bob Hope is.
So with that in mind I went on to UTube and found the introduction for his performance in 1970. I am sad as I grew up watching the Bob Hope USO Christmas Shows are gone. Bob Hope died July 27, 2003 at the age of 93. So enjoy, this small part of one of his shows. FYI there are several full length shows to show your kids.
