Awesome. My one and only encounter with a CGN was the Long Beach, which lost her rudder control while alongside. Fun times.

Bastard EWs sent me to Long Beach to get a copy of a classified Instruction they needed. They didn't tell me it was on the O-10 Level!

USS Long Beach (CGN-9) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
USS Long Beach (CLGN-160/CGN-160/CGN-9) was a nuclear-powered guided missile cruiser in the United States Navy. She was the only ship of her class and the third Navy ship named after the city of Long Beach, California. She was the first nuclear‑power surface warship in history.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Yeah I kick myself to thiss day for not taking pictures of her. So awesome to have her alongside at the same time as the Big E -- TWO carrier superstructures, but only one carrier. As a young guy though, I was in love with the carrier so I didn't bother turning around to take a pic of the LB, to my eternal regret.
