As bad as it is, some of it isn't as funny as it is real. Lot of good VA workers overshadowed by the few shitbags who want to play god...made worse by those who feel they are "owed" vs. earned.

And that is the shame of the system, and many vet orgs who paint a picture, that is accurate without being accurate. Glad you got a good one 1stSgt.

Agreed, but are we helping or hurting when that same accountability doesn't take into account no one spreads the names and experiences of the good VA centers and doctors? My VA doctor on Ft. Belvior, is shit hot. The clinic is shit hot. The DCVA is the exact opposite and you feel it the second you arrive on the grounds. I might not make sense, but when I go there, there is a smell you get no matter what entrance you come into, and it smells like sterile death. It's something I can't explain, but it's a smell I can't forget and makes me loathe when I have to go there. Doesn't help when the senior hospital administrator has been canned, and we know how that usually works out.
