There is one certain thing with any VA employee who is a whistleblower or has protected communications:
Retaliation will be swift and incessant.
In fact, that's what the motto should be changed to read.

I concur with you. Some VA managers think they run principalities and are not driven by societal values. Here some examples:
- Manager fires an employee to make room to hire her friend.
- Manager gets around veterans preference hiring by asking a bogus question.
- Manager fires an employee has heart problems.

My wife and I had to make an agonizing decision to hire an attorney for 20k because we felt like it was the right thing to do. The attorney was a bulldog. One day he had the police walk into the VA hospital to take possession of VA hard drives.

MAJ Ken Landgren best move with the hard drives, as they will not willingly comply with discovery.

Here's a great one: Acting VBA Under Secretary retires, his wife is appointed an Area Office Director, and the Area Office is immediately relocated to....the city where the Acting USB retires.

Yes I have read about senior leaders who take advantage of the VA but don’t remember the details.1SG (Join to see)
