Vanderbilt Clinic Nurse Refused To Help Critically Injured Robertson County Deputy Sheriff

If this is true the nurse should never be allowed to work in the medical field again.

I am a Nurse Anesthetist. You render care PERIOD! I have provided care to child molesters, robbers, rapists etc. My duty is not to judge, and yes I have taken care of transgender people. One of my transgender incidents involved an individual with a feminine name and feminine appearance. Some how the fact this individual was trans didn't make it into the abbreviated medical record. I asked the individual if she were pregnant. Instead of just explaining to me the person coped an attitude. I asked the surgeon why there was no pregnancy test. The surgeon then informed me they didn't get a pregnancy test because she was a he. I got razed about that all day!

Damn....I don't know a single doc or NP or EMT or Paramedic that wouldn't have helped. That's insane.
