What a lucky Sailor! Survived the Bismark Sea sinking and got rescued. Some of the crew wasn't so lucky. I hope he wrote down or recorded his memories.

Thanks Dale for another great story of a WW2 vet. These kids today have no idea of what our fathers and others did in WW2 to provide the life that we enjoy today. A lot of them are hell bent to destroy what the great vets such as Leo E. Hoffman acomplished.
