Veterans on Wall Street Hold Sixth Annual Conference

Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS), a consortium of more than 70 financial services firms including Citi, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and HSBC, held its sixth annual conference in the Goldman Sachs Conference Center on November 1. The conference brought together veterans and leaders from Wall Street and other industries, the US military, federal and local government and the nonprofit community to discuss issues central to veterans employment and to share best practices for attracting and retaining talent from the veterans community.

The conference featured a series of panels focused on an array of important topics, including veterans employment and retention, perspectives on post-military public service, communicating veterans’ value add and industry investment in veterans. Speakers included:
