This article was a POS, the author used a bunch of twitter handles to claim to have assessed the pulse of veterans. That is at best shoddy journalism, and more likely an attempt to fake the news. For those of you who aren't into technology, I can have 10,000 twitter messages sent out from 10.000 different accounts within a an hour, saying anything I want them to say. Twitter isn't exactly a good source of anything. The left has been using fake twitter and FB account in mass for years.
Now back to real veterans. Everyone that I personally know saw this as the high point in the speech. Trump let the entire world know that this woman's husband was a hero who did a great service for America, and in acknowledging the loss of his wife in that context was a great moment to showcase the burden that military families carry in a very respectful way.
The big story at that moment isn't mentioned in this article. The disrespect that the DNC leaders showed by not standing at that moment is sickening, not just to me, or to other veterans, but to the majority of Americans.

Anytime our president can bring attention to our fallen heroes, I encourage it and think it's a great thing.

@LTC John Christensen could be that it is to make him a hypocrite. Trump said the News Media was all fake news. Then they come out and praise him. Now he has two bad choices. Continue railing them, making their accolades seem less than genuine. Come out and say how wonderful they are because they have seen the light, making him look like a trained monkey jumping through hoops to get a scooby snack. Either way Trump loses.
