Maybe this is some of the problems vets are having with the VA. Pay up or no VA compensation. I did not know this. Why is separation pay an option? Do the vets understand this policy before accepting separation pay?

I am dealing with that situation; it definitely takes away from money I could receive to take care of household expenses.

They failed to inform but you can still get VA compensation they VA can take it out of your compensation until it fully paid off.
