One of the things that turned me off to the practice of law even before I graduated from law school were my classmates, the ones who went on to successful practices, focused on "a big pay day". Let's be honest. What the President may or may not have done with a porn star/hooker/whatever ten years before he became President is of no interest to me nor should it be of any interest to anyone. I suspect that the only "pay day" this lawyer may enjoy is if the President pays them off to avoid embarrassment. In other words, what we're watching is a slow motion variation on the old "Baltimore Street Hustle". A hooker gets a man in bed and her confederates storm the room threatening to tell the man's wife or community. In such a case, the President hasn't committed a crime, merely an indiscretion (and a minor one compared to the "indiscretions" of other Presidents). The crime, extortion, is being committed by the woman and her lawyer before our very eyes...

That's exactly what it feels like. They are building up to something and taking their sweet time. Personally, I don't give a damn who Trump sleeps with, as long as he doesn't lie about it to the people who matter, or used funds he shouldn't have to silence her. That's between him and his wife. My problem is with people, all people who keep talking up evidence and holding off on releasing it.

Cpl Tom Surdi - Their "evidence" loses all importance after it is released. This is why the best way to deal with a blackmailer (and this is blackmail) is to ignore them and take whatever consequences may befall if they make good on their threat to reveal one's indiscretions

Well, lets hope there is some actual evidence and not some kind of bluff.

I think that if it is a bluff the fear it cause might just produce evidence itself. But we will see.
