Vietnam POW: The right way to honor veterans

Every word written in this article is true. I cringe when someone says, "thank you for your service" with plastered faces. The meaning and spirit of Veterans Day has been watered down. I absolutely do not attend the Veterans' dinner at Golden Corral on Veterans Day because there are more civilians saying "I am a veteran" than us veterans. So disrespectful, I don't want to be in their presence. I won't call names, but Rock Stars get more grieving hearts than Jesus or veterans.
