Good to see this Vietnam Vet finally getting his due with a long overdue awards, "not only the Purple Heart, but a Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Vietnam Service Medal (with two stars), Republic of Vietnam Campaign Ribbon, Expert Badge and Marksman Badge."

It's understandable that this deserving soldier, medevaced from the field, shuffled through numerous medical facilities and discharged at the end of the process where the concern would have been the appropriate level of disability rather than authorized awards would not have received those awards. It's great that the oversight has been corrected.
